A candidate should have preferably first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with a minimum average marks of 55% and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry.
Preference will be given for candidates with research experience in the area of synthetic organic chemistry supported by publications in peer reviewed journals, familiarity with usual product characterization techniques including chromatography, spectroscopy and X-ray crystallograph
